Lip blushing help enhance the shape and colour of lips this gives the impression of more fullness. This is done by depositing pigment into your lips and along your lip line and the overall look. The pigment will fade 40 % and leave a subtle colour and gives natural-looking results. Touch up are required every 18 month to 24 months to keep the colour fresh.

Can i get Lip Blushing If I Have Lip Fillers?

Yes, can get lip blushing done with lip fillers but it’s better to get the lip blushing done first, as it’ll last longer than fillers. If you already got fillers, wait at least 6 weeks for the fillers to settle. You should be aware, though, that there’s a small chance of your fillers migrating due to the trauma of tattooing.

Who isn’t suitable for Lip Blushing?

  • Are under 18

  • Are pregnant or nursing

  • Are undergoing chemotherapy

  • Have uncontrolled high blood pressure

  • Have diabetes (consult your doctor, it may be possible)

  • Have psoriasis, eczema, rosacea, or another skin condition in the area

  • Have an auto-immune disease (consult your doctor, it may be possible)

  • Have anemia (pigment may not be retained properly)

  • Have a history of keloid scarring or hypertrophic scarring

  • Have a history of cold sores

  • Take blood-thinning medication

  • Take Accutane or steroids

If you have ever had cold sores or herpes on the lips, you will need to take special antiviral medications in the period leading up to your lip tattoo treatme. The most common prep therapy is Zovirax or Valtrex for about 2 weeks. Otherwise, the lip blushing will make your herpes flare up.
